A free meal planner with one grocery list. No subscription.
Misa suggests a weekly plan for your household size and cooking time, then combines the ingredients into one grocery list sorted by aisle. Planning, recipe import and sharing the list are free. You do not need an account or a subscription.
Plan my week for freeWorks in your browser. Add Misa to your home screen if you want to open it like an app.
- STEP 1
Plan your week
Set your household size and the time you have to cook. Let Misa suggest dinners for the week, then swap a dinner or leave a day free. You can also import recipes from links and put them on your plan.
- STEP 2
Get one grocery list
Your planned dinners feed one shopping list, sorted by aisle. Shared ingredients combine into one row with their amounts added up: 2 cloves of garlic for one dinner and 3 for another become 5 cloves to buy.
- STEP 3
Share the shopping
On the shopping list, choose “Share the list with your household” and send the link. Your household can see and check off the same list without creating an account. Anyone with the link can use it, so share it only with people you want on the list.
A weekly meal planner that combines ingredients
You should not have to compare every recipe’s ingredient list before going to the store. Misa adds shared amounts together and groups the list by aisle, so you can shop for the week from one place.
Have recipes you already cook? Paste their links to import the ingredients and steps. Put those recipes on days yourself, or ask Misa to plan a week from your saved recipes, choosing dinners that share ingredients. Check the ingredients and amounts after importing: a site needs readable recipe data for the import to work.
What is free, and what are the limits?
The weekly plan, grocery list, household list sharing and recipe import are free without an account. There is no subscription required to use them.
No native phone app: Misa runs in the browser and can be added to your home screen. There is no Misa app in the App Store or Google Play.
Keep a backup: your plan and recipes live in this browser and do not sync automatically between devices. Clearing site data can delete them. Download a backup from My profile, or save the backup file to your own cloud drive. Restore that file to move your data to another browser or phone. Sharing a grocery list sends that list to the server; it does not sync your recipe collection.
Recipe import has limits: Misa stores up to 200 imported recipes on a device and imports up to 50 at once. Photos load from their source rather than being copied into your backup.
Other apps have strengths: Plan to Eat has its own apps and syncs your whole recipe box. Paprika 3 is a mature recipe manager that works fully offline on each device. Samsung Food has a large recipe catalog and appliance integrations. Misa does not offer that same combination of features.
How the prices compare
Plan to Eat costs $5.95 per month or $49 per year after a 14-day trial. Paprika 3 is a one-time purchase, with each platform sold separately. Samsung Food is free; its Food+ plan costs $6.99 per month or $59.99 per year after a 7-day trial. Misa’s planning, imports and shared grocery list are free, with no account or subscription.

Bringing recipes from Mealime?
Misa can find Mealime recipes by name and import up to 50 at once. Read how to save and export your Mealime recipes, or see the import steps and screenshots.
